Following an overview of Majestic’s latest in A Majestic Bunch comes just over three cases-worth of fine wine from their burgeoning selection. There are all sorts of styles to tempt you, from classics to cults, but the one wine that stood apart from the others for me was a sticky from the Veneto by Maculan, as pictured. Other highlights from generally very high scoring wines were a Côte Rôtie by Pierre Benetiere and the best value award goes to the Muriel Gran Reserva 1989 Rioja, which for twenty quid is a very affordable way of tasting a piece of history....
