Last Friday the line-up of wines I will present at one of the three big tastings to be held at WineFuture Hong Kong in early November was announced. The other two tastings will be a collection of red bordeaux presented by American wine guru Robert Parker and a range of Spanish wines presented by conference organiser Pancho Campo MW. Parker's line-up had already been announced, a selection of top red bordeaux billed as first growth equivalents. I had therefore been expecting a list of over-performing outsiders but found few surprising names on the Bordeaux line-up, billed The Magical 20....
