Napa Valley Cabernets – depressing?

In the first of two major reports on current releases of Napa Valley appellation Cabernets, her first for JancisRobinson.com, Elaine Chukan Brown reviews 57 wines, but finds frustratingly few to get excited about. (I have added my tasting note on the Opus One 2013 and Overture NV released on the Bordeaux place on Monday – JR) See also her subsequent report on Cabernets labelled with one of Napa Valley’s 16 sub-appellations and on Napa Merlots.
