Sainsbury's – solid but uninspiring

Sainsbury’s autumn wine press tasting was held on Tuesday 17 October – an unfortunate choice perhaps as it coincided with the announcement that the company was shedding 2,000 jobs in a further attempt to reduce costs (by £500 million within three years is the aim) in the fight for recovery within the UK grocery market. There was no mention of this during the tasting (not surprisingly)...
