By the scores in this article, most Tasmanian wine can stand alongside prestige champagnes including Sir Winston Churchill, Cristal, Krug and hallowed bordeaux such as Château Larcis-Ducasse, Les Pensées from Château Lafleur and Alter Ego de Palmer.
