Dont' forget to buy Red Nose wines, and take a look at the luxury way of supporting Wine Relief on Red Nose Day Friday 13 Mar here.

Rose Murray Brown MW is one of the most stalwart supporters of Wine Relief. She is once again organising a large wine tasting in central Edinburgh to raise awareness of Wine Relief, the wine-related fundraising campaign for Comic Relief which does such sterling long-term work to change lives for the better in Africa and the UK.Wine Relief has so far raised £2.7 million by the UK wine trade since its inception in 1999.

In Edinburgh's Assembly Rooms on Tuesday 10 Mar a good 30 companies will be exhibiting, including major supermarkets, high street retailers and independent merchants with their 2009 Wine Relief selections and over 100 wines to taste. Retailers taking part in the tasting in 2009 include Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Oddbins, Majestic Wine, Co-op, Wine Rack, Valvona & Crolla, Villeneuve Wines, Harvey Nichols, Corney & Barrow, House of Menzies, Raeburn Fine Wines, Peter Green, Henderson Wines, Peckhams, Great Grog, Irvine Robertson Wines, Sideways Wines, Wood Winters, Luvians, Edinburgh Wine Merchants, Lockett Brothers and Cornelius Wines.

Wines of Chile, Wines of South Africa and Ananda Chocolatemakers are all taking part in this night out for wine lovers, who can enter competitions, a Wine Relief quiz and a Chocolate Challenge. Raffle prizes include vouchers for Pete Gottgens' newly renovated Ardeonaig Hotel on Loch Tay, top restaurants and cooking schools as well as a £250 Sainsbury's voucher and jeroboam/magnums of champagne.
