28 May - I'm delighted to announce which Purple Pagers have won a pair of free tickets to Bibendum's big Bordeaux tasting at Lord's Cricket Ground in London next Wednesday 5 June: Lee Bostock, wine blogger Anthony Davies, Gordon Lee, Stephen Powell and Jimmy Weir. Gareth Groves of Bibendum, who drew the names out of a hat, reports that the overwhelming majority of Purple Pagers applying for these tickets were male.

As a Purple Pager, you have the chance to win a pair of tickets to UK wine merchant Bibendum's big tasting of 2012 bordeaux at Lord's Cricket Ground, London NW1 on 5 June 2013.

Once again, Bibendum are hosting over 70 Bordeaux properties at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London giving wine lovers the chance to taste both the en primeur vintage – in this case the 2012s – as well as some older wines. Bibendum are offering five Purple Pagers the chance to win a pair of tickets to the event on 5 June. To enter, simply email Gareth Groves at Bibendum at ggroves@bibendum-wine.co.uk by Friday 24 May. Gareth will draw five winning names from the hat, to be announced here on Monday 27 May (or would have been were it not a bank holiday).

Bibendum are also offering Purple Pagers a special reduced ticket price of £35 (usually £40) per person. To take advantage of this, call 020 7449 4120 or email sales@bibendum-wine.co.uk and quote 'Purple Pages Offer'. You can find more details of the tasting here
