Jancis writes: Below are a massive 195 reviews of wines grown in California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Virginia, grouped by colour and in order of descending score. It seems as though the dearth of American wines in the UK is well and truly over. Hooray!
But the compilation, with notably high scores, is supplemented by quite a few wines available exclusively in the US, notably some from Elaine (including a group from Idaho that surprised her) and a collection of Edna Valley wines tasted sur place with Larry Brooks at Tolosa...
