Benjamin Romeo – the tasting notes

Here are my tasting notes of the full range of five wines. Benjamin is thinking of adding a reserva though not in the strict Riojan sense of longer ageing). It’s hard to assess the drinking windows for wines with such a short history but considering the structure, concentration and freshness, I am probably being over-cautious. All the wines needed time to open up and became more fragrant and complex with time in the glass – and I'm sure they would have developed further if I had had the time to wait...
