The following three notional wine investors won wine merchant Robert Rolls' 2003 Comic Relief Wine Investment Challenge:
Hugh Purvis of Portugal won £1,000 worth of wine because his chosen investment wines rose 47.36 per cent in value in the two years that have elapsed since Red Nose Day 2003. Second prize of £500 worth of wine goes to Ian Douglas, of London N3 for an increase in value of 29.34 per cent while Adam Shapiro of London E8 wins £250 worth of wine for choosing wines that rose 29.34 per cent.
Now is the time to enter the 2005 Robert Rolls Wine Investment Challenge. Select a notional £5,000 portfolio from Robert Rolls' current wine list of at least five wines from those nominated by the merchant and pay an entrance fee of £15 which goes straight to Comic Relief.
