Montrachet tasting and dinner with Hugh
The Fine Wine Experience, the London tasting organisers headed by New Zealander Linden Wilkie (www.finewineexperience.com) and The World of Fine Wine amagazine jointly announce what they assure us will be 'an amazing wine experience' to take place in Burgundy in November (although not the Hospices de Beaune weekend, NB).
Join Hugh Johnson for an extensive tasting from the 1996 and 1995 vintages of various producers' Le Montrachet. This is a pretty rare opportunity (see my earlier account of an extensive tasting of 1999 Montrachets). To follow this landmark tasting, there will be a Grand Cru Burgundy dinner with some of Burgundy's leading producers.
