I have been delightfully catching up on some of the 2007 whites that I have not so far reported on in this extensive survey of German 2007s and Alsace 2007s. I’m particularly glad to have been able to see Zind-Humbrecht’s range in bottle, as well as the full range of vineyard-designated dry Rieslings from Dr Bürklin-Wolf in Pfalz which, not being a member of the VDP organisation, had so far evaded me. You can also find wines from Groebe in Rheinhessen, Prinz von Hessen in Rheingau and an interesting white Pinot Noir from Peter Stolleis in Pfalz.
