Lakewood Valvin Muscat 2020 Finger Lakes

16

Sweet wine from Valvin Muscat – a variety that was developed at Cornell (also in the Finger Lakes region) and released for use in vineyards in 2006. RS 58 g/l.
The aromas and palate profile are almost Gewürztraminer without quite as much spice. The palate becomes more focused on peach accented by apricot skin. The sweetness is well balanced by the acidity offering a long, clean finish. Would do well with cheese and salty nuts. (ECB)
