Full 37.5-cl bottle with the box it comes in, 853 g. Blend of Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara. Some barrel ageing. 'Recioto is where it all began', says Giacomo Boscaini. Masi have always championed the ripasso method. The first vintage of this wine was produced in 1936. RS 70 g/l.
Like a dark-purple unfurling of rolled velvet. Black cherries, amaretto, prunes and juniper-infused chocolate. Thyme and tobacco packed, fragrant and textured, resinous and drying, into deep, fleshy, rich, indigo-syrup sweetness and largesse. You'll want to lick this out your glass… (TC)
