CIA at Copia, Napa

If you can’t join us at The Morris, then how about JancisRobinson.com – Live on the morning of Wednesday 29 October at Copia, Napa (above)?

Meet Jancis and the US team behind JancisRobinson.com as they share their 25-year perspective on the past, present and future of the wine business.

Join Jancis Robinson OBE MW, Samantha Cole-Johnson and Alder Yarrow as they look back on the 25th anniversary of JancisRobinson.com and look to what’s coming next. Joshua Greene will moderate the panel, focusing a global discussion on the state of California wine, as well as the wine industry as a whole.

The gathering will include leading wine buyers from around the world and top-flight producers in Napa Valley, Sonoma County and beyond, all bringing their curiosity and putting questions to the panel. Take this opportunity to add your own queries to an extensive Q&A session that will follow the panel discussion. Then meet Jancis and the team for a glass of English sparkling wine at the reception to follow. Doors to the Eco Lab auditorium at Copia will open at 9.45 am, 15 minutes prior to the start of the session.

JancisRobinson.com – Live will be filmed and broadcast with a global reach. This is your opportunity to be a part of the live audience.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the Gérard Basset Foundation to support California projects including the 280 Project’s Apprenticeship Program, which provides paid viticultural and vinicultural training to apprentices from under-represented communities; the Glancy Wine Education Foundation, which awards scholarships to under-represented wine and hospitality professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area; and the UC Davis Diversity of Wine Academy – Outreach Program.
