Those who follow the most dynamic part of this site, your turn, will know that there has been considerable correspondence about the quality of Ch Grillet, once the archetypal great Viognier of the northern Rhône (and, most unusually, a property that has its very own appellation – although nowadays there are various Spanish contenders). Several purple pagers are vehemently against it, citing comparisons with sulfur springs and the like.
