Although quantity is down, winemakers across Chile are optimistic about the quality of vintage 2025. Some claim it is one of the best in the past decade. Above, a harvester at work earlier this year in the Renacido vineyard in Maule, where Garage Wine Co source fruit from ancient bush vines – some Malbec but mainly País subsequently grafted over to Cabernet Sauvignon.
