Labégorces to be reunited

Word reaches me that there are plans to sell the Margaux Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel Ch Labégorce Zédé to the owner of Ch Labégorce so that eventually these two estates will be reunited and run as one as, presumably, in the days of the Abbot Gorce. Luc Thienpont of the extensive family which owns, variously, Le Pin, Vieux Château Certan, Ch Pavie Macquin, Ch Puygueraud et al is believed to be selling for fiscal reasons, and the property’s neighbours are the ideal purchasers.
