Lynne Coyle, who has been with Oddbins for 18 years girl and woman, is leaving at the end of July. Oddbins are currently trying to find a replacement. Both internal and external candidates are being considered, they say. Grant Ramage, another senior buyer, also left Oddbins recently.
Lynne's husband left Oddbins some time ago to join Novum with Steve Daniel whom Lynne replaced.

Oddbins was taken over by the Bordeaux family firm of Castel three years ago. It still has some very interesting wine but prices have gone up considerably since Steve Daniel's time when the company was, rather incongruously, owned by Seagram and was allowed a high degree of autonomy.
