Oxford Food and Wine Festival, 14-15 November 2003

This event has been postponed until spring 2004

Oxford has long hosted an annual extremely academic food symposium at which matters such as ancient Mongolian cooking pots are discussed. But now Masters of Wine Anne Tupker and Michael Palij are organising a more sybaritic affair, Oxford's first gastronomic festival, on a Friday and Saturday in mid-November. The idea is to offer a particularly dense programme of sessions which will not be attended by more than 80 people so as to encourage a certain intimacy and immediacy of experience.

Speakers include Nick and me, Raymond Blanc of the Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, wine writers John Livingstone-Learmonth and Tom Stevenson and many more. For more details see www.owff.co.uk.
