25 may: The campaign is at last seriously underway and at least one merchant, Bibendum, can now report, with some relief one imagines, that they have sold out of one first tranche (L Barton, now £270, first tranche was £240 – market lift-off!). Calon Segur has just come out – a dramatic and sensible reduction from £340 for the 2003 to £230 for the 2004. Is the keen wind of good sense blowing through Bordeaux at last?
