The Art of Chablis – a clever title for a tasting of 50 wines based on the latest promotional theme devised by the BIVB, the generic body tasked with promoting Chablis (and the rest of Burgundy) along with their UK PR agency Sopexa. This was apparently the first generic Chablis tasting in London for nearly a decade and they clearly wanted to make a flourish, choosing the Tate Modern as their venue. It is a great place to taste – excellent light and very spacious, plus wide concrete windowsills that are perfect laptop perches.
