Australia's Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine have just announced the results of their wine list awards 2011, which will be published in their Aug/Sep issue. The awards were presented on Sunday night at Doltone House, Sydney. Congratulations to Pilu at Freshwater and their sommelier Lara Caraturo.

Lara is clearly a world away from the French sommelier shamed but not named in this recent thread on our Members' forum. Look out for Jancis's article tomorrow on sommeliers good and bad; and for the many articles on wine lists on this site, click on the tag at the end of this page.
