22 January 2025 With all the tasting notes from London’s Burgundy Week now published, the big tidy-up begins. Each alphabetically grouped tasting article will be unavailable for a few hours while being finalised but the tasting notes themselves will remain available to members at all times in our tasting notes database. We have so far published over 600 reviews of 2023 burgundies. Over half of these are thanks to our man in Burgundy, Matthew Hayes, who visited and tasted at 25 of the top established and up-and-coming domaines in the Côte d’Or towards the end of last year. Jancis and Julia have contributed hundreds more tasting notes from the négociants’ tastings held in London.
We are in the process of compiling these into tasting articles, grouped alphabetically by producer (sur)name, the first of which is published today. Each of these articles remains a work in progress (WIP) while reviews of wines tasted by Jancis, Julia and Tam during London’s Burgundy Week (beginning 13 January) are added just as quickly as it is possible to upload them.
As soon as each tasting note is published it will be visible to members of JancisRobinson.com by searching our tasting notes database, as well as by following the links to the WIP tasting articles as they are published.
Once all the tasting notes are in, we will tidy up those WIP articles and publish them in their final form.
