There’s only one thing you can be sure of on the MW course: every student thinks that every other student is doing more work than they are.

Myself included. I hear of students writing a different essay every single morning. Students taking a day a week off work to study. Students taking a month off work to experience vintage. Students quitting work entirely. Students recording themselves reading their notes and playing it back to themselves on their ipod as they commute.
