That we had, until 12 November 2021, exactly four Beaujolais Nouveau tasting notes in our database of over 214,000 is just one indication of the low regard with which we hold (have held) this wine. Indeed, of the only 57 references to the wine in all of our articles, every single one is pejorative, Beaujolais Nouveau being squarely blamed for the poor reputation of beaujolais that the region has taken so long to shrug off.
