What Price Bordeaux? Book review

An important and extremely detailed new book, What Price Bordeaux? by Benjamin Lewin MW, comes out from what I deduce is his own publishing company Vendange Press this month and is reviewed here for the Institute of Masters of Wine by Hugo Rose MW. The book is very dense and is exceptionally well illustrated, in a scientific rather than artistic way. Well done!
Lewin’s wide-ranging treatise on Bordeaux is both an homage and a de-bunking. His deep understanding of the region and its wines shines through, as does his desire to question conventional views over terroir, classifications and the market...
