On Friday I'm due to host a wine tasting in deepest Hampshire in aid of Cancer Research UK. Local wine merchant Stone, Vine & Sun kindly volunteered to supply the wines and sent me the dozen below from which to choose six wines to show. There was a budgetary limit so we won't be pouring the lovely red burgundy for the crowd, but I am looking forward to sharing the white bordeaux, the Faugères, the Cape Rock white (with the smart labels shown here), the Beaujolais, the Ribera del Duero and the Cairanne.
