It dominates the newspapers, the TV, the radio, government and has invaded almost every home in the developed world. No one gets a prize for guessing what 'it' might be. Everyone is pointing fingers, the government is under fire and we're being bombarded with conflicting facts, opinions and advice. But a few days ago on BBC Radio 4's Any questions?, the following very good point was made: part of the solution involves every individual taking personal responsibility for their own finances.
