After the acquisition of 16 new hectares of vines in June, Virginie Saverys (ipictured left and profiled here by Walter) of Avignonesi of Montepulciano has just announced that she has bought another 9.5 hectares of vineyards from Miriam and Cinzia Caporali, the owners of Tenuta Val di Piatta.
Saverys explains, ‘with this new acquisition [Avignonesi] can count on a total of 64 hectares of vineyards within the Montepulciano DOC appellation.
