Bordeaux 2012 at Southwold – the right bank

The Southwold 2012 series began yesterday with the whites, and continues with the left-bank reds. See also this overview.

Overall the right-bank wines were more successful than the left-bank ones – with the best Pomerols being the red stars of the vintage. I gave several scores of 18 and will be writing an overview of the tasting on Saturday. For me, Lafleur 2012 was the jewel of the vintage. Three earlier vintages are pictured here.
