Bordeaux 2012 – the guide

7 May – I think we have probably all had enough of this distinctly lacklustre primeurs campaign. In many cases the prices don't seem to have fallen far enough to ignite interest, or bordeaux is generally out of favour, or perhaps bordeaux lovers simply have enough wine in their cellars. Whatever the reasons, this guide will no longer hog the top of our home page. Personally, I am much keener on the recently declared 2011 vintage ports. See my overview and tasting notes.

If Bordeaux en primeur is routinely ridiculed as a 'circus', then welcome to your front seat at the Big Top. Below are the links to all of our coverage of this vintage: the clowns, the acrobats, the jugglers, the tightrope walkers, and the fire eaters. Not forgetting the odd elephant in the room...

We are pleased to say that we have tasting notes on almost 500 bordeaux 2012s. Please note that the tasting article titles will link to the relevant article only once they are published, but there are already other, more general articles below the list of tasting articles.
