My brief tasting of right-bank 2019s in bottle (see below) confirmed my en primeur conclusion that this is a very appealing vintage, with the ripeness of the fruit and tannins matched by classic freshness. The fruit is present, textures are smooth, the tannins without aggression, and there’s a minerally freshness and length that makes the wines very digestible despite alcohol levels being relatively high...
