Burgundy 2009 – a guide

• 1 min read
Image

Below are quick links to our more than 1,500 tasting notes on 2009 burgundies, divided into four articles by producer (sur)name. These are now just about complete but I aim to add a few individual notes about specific producers and their performance in 2009.

Below these tasting articles are listed all the many articles we have published about this vintage, plus a couple of the more relevant threads in our forum, with the most recent additions at the top and the earliest reports at the bottom.

The amateur image above left, by the way, is of the hill of Corton seen from Ladoix last October as I waited to judge the finalists in the Jeunes Talents competition for 2008s made all over Greater Burgundy – see Young turks of Burgundy for some less well known names of producers of interest.
