Corney & Barrow, the London-based importer and vintner, are having a summer wine tasting at the Oxo Tower in June, and have offered 10 free tickets to Purple pagers.
They describe the event thus:
'In response to the huge demand for last year's Autumn Tasting, we are holding this new event at the fantastic Oxo Tower on London’s South Bank. The Tasting will showcase our favourite ‘drinking’ wines from renowned producers such as Peter Sisseck and Andrea Franchetti alongside exciting new additions from Italy, Spain and the USA. We will also be showing Champagne Delamotte's long-awaited 2002 vintage for the first time.
'As always, the evening will be a great opportunity to meet some of our leading winemakers, including Sandra Tavares (Quinta de Chocapalha, Portugal), Stéphane Vivier (Hyde de Villaine, California), Bruce Cakebread of Cakebread Cellars, and representatives from wineries such as the award-winning Achaval Ferrer (Argentina). We very much hope you can join us. There will be 10% off all orders placed on the night.'
