François Millet has handed over to the winemaker of a Nuits-St-Georges négociant. Picking is well and truly under way in Burgundy – at last.

Sunny days after torrential rain restored my faith in the 2021 vintage in Burgundy. It will undoubtedly be small, and very different from the last two solar-powered vintages. But that may not be such a bad thing. More later.
