Samantha regales us with tales of a rather unsatisfactory week.

This week was … bleak. While we have started processing more white grapes, the yields on whites have been badly affected by the poor fruit set and temperature fluctuations and we haven’t managed to process more than six tons in a day. Only once have we split the incoming grapes into two press loads. While the hope is that yields for reds are down by only 20%, whites look to be down by as much as 60% for some varieties.
