Faine waine dinner in London in February

On 26 February 2004 the Civil Engineers' wine club is organising a fine wine dinner at Michelin-starred Pied à Terre in Charlotte Street, London W1, where Nick and I will be guests of honour (ie, we don't pay and do pontificate). Here are the proposed wines:

  • Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 1988 – Louis Latour (2 bottles)
  • Kaseler Kehrnages Riesling Auslese 1988 (2 bottles)

  • Château Rausan Segla 1985 (2 bottles)
  • La Fleur Pétrus 1982 (2 bottles)
  • Château Batailley 1982 (2 bottles)
  • Château Suduiraut 1989 (2 bottles)

Three-course dinner with coffee and petit fours

£150 members, £170 Guests, Available spaces: 12

I have posted news of London's Civil Engineers' Wine Club before because their events look good on paper, or screen and I have now had feedback from those who have attended that they are indeed very well run.

I'm posting below therefore the rest of their programme for the first part of 2004.
