Penfolds red wine re-corking clinic 2004

Check your investment

Penfolds of Australia is providing its collectors with the chance to check their wines at the unique Penfolds Red Wine Re-Corking Clinic.  It will be held on Tuesday 23rd November 2004 at Home House, 20 Portman Square, London, W1H 6LW.

They regard the Penfolds Re-Corking Clinic as the ultimate after-sales service.  The clinic offers the owners of Penfolds wines up to and including the 1989 vintage the opportunity to have their wines assessed by Peter Gago, chief winemaker at Penfolds.  An expert from Sotheby's will audit and check the veracity of the Re-Corking clinic procedure, as well as providing valuations.

Peter Gago states: "The tension is palpable at these events.  Sommeliers of leading restaurants and private clients who have nurtured their Penfolds wines are equally anxious to have them checked and evaluated.  We recreate laboratory conditions to check the wines.  The joy of the clinic is that when a wine tasted is in good condition, we top up the wine with the current vintage and are able to tell the collector that their investment is a real liquid asset!"

The Penfolds Re-Corking Clinic runs from 09.00am to 4.00pm.  To make an appointment, register online by visiting www.penfoldsuk.com or contact Katie McMillan on 020 8917 4600.
