Tilak Sinha describes himself as 'an itinerant Aussie sommelier'. Once maître d' at Lameloise and a Chagny resident since 2009, he reports from the hail-hit Côte de Beaune in Burgundy. The photographs are by professional wine photographer Jon Wyand: the most populated vineyard being Clavoillon picked by the Leflaive team, the bare-breasted picker being in Pernand-Vergelesses.
