Australian viticulturist Dr Richard Smart, now resident in the UK, seems unpeturbed by such recent developments as the French vigneron killed by exposure to pesticides (see here). The following is an edited version of an article he wrote in the Sep/Oct 2010 issue of the Australian and NZ Wine Industry Journal (www.winebiz.com.au).
