Alsace – 10 top producers

These tasting notes were taken during visits to 10 different producers in Alsace. I wrote in The trouble with Alsace that I found the wines generally reliable in quality but greatly variable in style, and indeed each producer has something different to recommend them. I have given a short introduction to each set of notes, which are ordered by producer, then by style and grape variety as follows:
