Eleven visits and as many different personalities, wine styles and strongly expressed opinions. This was my three-day visit to Beaujolais last summer, which has been languishing on my laptop while I laboured over the maps for the next, eighth edition of The World Atlas of Wine due out in early October.
Languishing is entirely the wrong word for what is happening in Beaujolais these days, where established producers and more recent incomers and a younger generation are demonstrating the amazing diversity...
