When I got divorced at the tender age of 26 (long story), I noticed to my horror a sudden spate of balding had accompanied the process. Forget the flat in Brighton, the wedding presents, the wife herself, the only thing I really missed was my hair. A psychologist friend later told me that worry was indeed often a trigger for baldness. I have maintained a stress-free existence ever since. And taken to wearing hats.
