Heartening news for Riesling lovers

The Oxford University Wine Circle is one of that famous old university’s most popular and senior societies for students. It organises a regular programme of tastings each term and I am reliably informed by the Hon Treasurer, a close relative as it happens, that no tasting has been more popular this academic year than Wednesday night’s presentation of fine German Rieslings by Erni Loosen which was an early sell-out.
