The second part of our Muscadet rediscovery is all about the crus. The photo above is taken from the beautiful, old, rusty iron irrigation tower in the Château-Thébaud cru vineyard.

When one of our subscribers wrote in and asked, last year, if we could write something about the crus communaux of Muscadet, it set wheels in motion and resulted in a three-day trip to Muscadet that completely re-set my understanding and appreciation of the region’s wines.
