Volcanic Wine Awards | The Jancis Robinson Story

Tags and how to drive them

You will see that this brand new site design has all sorts of new features, some of which work beautifully, some of which (access to certain areas, especially our wonderful new World Atlas of Wine maps) need a bit more fine tuning for some purple pagers.

Purple pagers, please note: some members' details have been imported without any membership plans attached, which is why some of you are, sad to say, finding difficulty accessing some of the purple pages. This very annoying problem is currently under repair, though I'm afraid we may have to wait until Monday for complete resolution. Our sincere apologies.

We are all hard at work firefighting in these first couple of days of the new website design but I thought I should make clear how to treat these new Tags at the bottom of some articles.

By clicking on these you will be taken to a list of other articles with similar tags, with publication dates and bylines, so it's a little like the old Related articles feature but much more sophisticated.

In a way they are like an additional compass for navigating your way round this site. We hope very much that once you get used to it, you will agree that navigation is considerably better than on the old site.

Our search features are also dramatically improved, though still need some fine tuning.
