I have just posted well over 100 tasting notes on the 2006 bordeaux, but of course there is very much more to Bordeaux than the latest vintage to be bottled.
Unusually, the current 2008 vintage was still being picked on 21 Oct, the date of the London tasting of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux, on which my tasting notes are based. Chx Branaire Ducru and Lagrange in St-Julien, for example, were still picking their 2008 crop. The Tesserons of Ch Lafon Rochet confirmed that 2008 was the latest vintage since 1983.
