The media concentrated on the gloom, doom and chill winds that were suppposed to have dominated the 2008 World Economic Forum at Davos last week but I must say that in the four presentations with which Nick and I were variously involved, admittedly on our specialist subjects of food and wine, the mood seemed distinctly upbeat. And, as you can see from this short video filmed over lunch at Gipfel high above the village of Davos, the weather could hardly have been brighter.
