2007 was a very good vintage for most varieties, especially for reds, and more especially for Tannat.
We had a dry and not too cold end of winter with a normal spring and normal rains until end of November. Weather conditions were a bit unstable with strong winds by the end of the period and this situation led to an earlier (1 week) but smaller flower set.
